“I am terrified to speak in public!”
“I hate the sound of my voice.”
Sound familiar???

These are actual quotes I have heard women say about their own voices!
"I wish I could speak up for myself."
“I am constantly interrupted.”
“I feel like no one wants to hear what I have to say.”
"My boss says my voice is shrill."
Have you ever thought that the sound of your voice or your speaking style has ever kept you from promotions or opportunities?
The sad reality is that women are judged for the sound of their voices and how they use them exponentially more than men are. There is real scientific evidence proving that even technology is biased against the frequency of the typical female voice.
When women feel criticized for the way they sound, many cultivate a false voice that they hope will be more accepted. Even worse, sometimes they are so self-conscious that they avoid public speaking opportunities altogether, which can hold them back from essential professional advancement. At the same time, in our current society, there is a real interest among many circles of women in cultivating authenticity about the real female experience. What could be more empowering in that cultivation than uncovering and taking ownership over your own voice?
As a Voice of the Woman client, you learn how to bring your awareness to your own vocal identity, as well as to the habits and restraints that have locked you out of your true voice. It is that awareness that holds the key to unlocking your vocal freedom. I teach you how to peel back the layers of tension, habits, and affectations that hold you back to reveal a voice for which you have ownership and confidence.
